Work Order Segment Types

The option to pre-define Segment Types gives you the ability to clearly identify and group the type of work the shop is completing on a regular basis. When using pre-defined Segment Types, the Mechanic's Productivity Report can be used to review an individual type of work and the profitability, or review all the mechanic's work broken into the type of job. This can assist in pin-pointing possible training needs.

Creating Segment Types

  1. Select Service Shop Management Menu>>File Update>>Work Order Segment Types

  2. Enter the Segment Type you wish to add.

  3. Complete the fields on this screen.  (Click on a field name for an overview. An asterisk (*) denotes required fields.)
