Make a Blanket Bin Location Change

Change Individual Part Numbers

1. Select Parts Inventory Menu>>Processing>>Bin Location Change.

2. Select Individual Part Numbers.

3. Select which way you would like your part numbers sorted.

4. Complete this screen.  (Click on a field name for an overview. An asterisk (*) denotes required fields.)

5. Make necessary changes to one or all of the bin locations and press ENTER.

6. Verify that your changes are correct and press ENTER again.  Otherwise, press Esc to edit your changes.

7. The next part number will appear for modification.  Complete steps 3-6 until you are finished.  

8. Press Esc twice or F9 to return to the menu.

Change a Range of Part Numbers

1. Select Parts Inventory Menu>>Processing>>Bin Location Change

2. Select Range of Part Numbers.

3. Indicate the range by entering the starting and ending Manufacturer/Supplier and Part number.

4. Type in the New Bin Locations you would like on those parts within the indicated range and press ENTER.

5. Press ESC when finished.

(NOTE:  Be careful when selecting a large range of part numbers.  Be sure you have printed the same range and verified the parts that printed are the ones you expect to appear in the range.)

Make a Blanket Bin Location Change

1. Select Parts Inventory Menu>>Processing>>Bin Location Change.

2. Select Blanket Bin Changes.

3. Complete this screen.  (Click on a field name for an overview. An asterisk (*) denotes required fields.)

4. Press ENTER.

5. Verify that your changes are correct and press ENTER again.  Otherwise, press ESC to edit your changes.
