Post Invoices & Daily Summary

Note: You can not schedule your invoice posting to happen in the evening. Contact a support team member if you are interested in utilizing the auto post feature.  

This option should be taken at the end of each day to post the counter invoices (example: equipment items that are processed through over-the-counter invoicing), work order invoices, and rental invoices to the general ledger, customer accounts records, and equipment records.  

 

  1. Select Customer Manager Menu>>Processing>>Post Invoices & Daily Summary.

  2. Select the posting option(s) desired by highlighting the option and pressing the SPACE BAR.

Split posted and unposted invoices

  1. Press ENTER to continue once you have made your selection(s).

*PRINT G/L DISTRIBUTION EACH INVOICE   Y  or  N

*POST EQUIPMENT SALES INVOICES   Y  or  N

*POST NON-EQUIPMENT SALES INVOICES   Y  or  N

 

  1. Press ENTER

  2. If it is correct, press F5 to continue.  If it is not correct, press Esc to make the necessary changes.

  3. The system will then proceed to post the invoices according to the criteria you entered. The reports will print in the upper left hand corner,  the id of the individual that selected the option.

If you SELECTED  - Posting Summary Report, another screen will appear.  Be sure to include the invoices you SELECTED to post on the first screen.  The Posting Summary Report will summarize all the monies received into the payment groups.  It is important that you balance this report with the money drawer each day.
